How to tell us about material you believe infringes your rights, and what we do about it.
What this service is
Sakis Player is a player. It contains no channels, playlists, films or series, and we sell none. A customer connects the IPTV subscription they already hold with their own provider, and the video travels from that provider straight to their device. It never passes through our servers, and we never see what anyone watches.
What we do hold is the account: the device record, the licence, and the provider address the customer entered. That is what we can act on, and it is what a notice should be about.
Sending a notice
Use the form at the bottom of this page, or write to the address below. For us to act, a notice must contain all of the following:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you say is infringed.
- Identification of the material — the account, device, provider address or page — in enough detail for us to find it.
- Your name, postal address, telephone and e-mail.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.
- Your electronic or physical signature.
What happens next
We acknowledge every complete notice. Where the material is under our control we act on it — normally by suspending the account or device concerned — and we tell the customer why. Where it is not under our control, which is usually the case because the streams belong to the customer’s own provider, we say so plainly and pass on what we can.
Repeat infringers
Accounts and devices that are the subject of repeated valid notices are terminated. This is not discretionary and no refund is due for a licence ended this way.
If you think we acted wrongly
A customer whose account was suspended may reply to the notice we sent them. Tell us what was removed or suspended, why you believe it was a mistake or a misidentification, and give your name, address and telephone. We will look again, and we will forward your reply to the party who complained.
