The app shows a code on screen. You type it here once. That is the whole pairing step.
📺 You need a portal, Xtream account or M3U playlist from your own IPTV provider. Sakis Player supplies no channels of its own.

Step by step
From a fresh install to watching.
Install and open the app
Android TV, Google TV, Samsung and LG: install from the TV's own app store.
Fire TV: install it directly from us — see the Fire TV guide below.
MAG / Infomir boxes: no install — set the portal address https://sakisplayer.com/mag/ under Settings → System settings → Servers → Portals, then restart the portal.
Accept the notice, then read the Home screen
The first launch shows a one-time content notice. After that the Home screen lists your Activation code, Virtual MAC and Software ID. Keep that screen visible — you need the code next.
Create your account here
Register on this website with an e-mail and password. It takes a moment and gives you the page where all your TVs live.
Link the TV with its activation code
In My account type the code from the TV screen and press Link device. The TV is now attached to you.
Enter your provider's details
Still in My account, open the TV you just linked, expand Details & troubleshooting, and fill in Provider portals for this device — a Stalker/MAG URL, an Xtream login, or an M3U link. Reopen the app and your channels are there. A paid licence holds up to four providers per TV; a trial holds one.
Your provider asked for a MAC address? Give them the Virtual MAC shown on the app's Home screen — not the TV's own network MAC. That virtual address is what identifies your device to the portal.
Fire TV: installing Sakis Player
On Fire TV you install the app straight from us. It takes a few minutes, you do it once, and everything after that is normal.
🔒 Is this safe? Yes. You are downloading from our own website over an encrypted connection, and Fire TV asks your permission before anything is installed. Amazon calls this “sideloading” and it is a normal, supported feature of every Fire TV — the same switch millions of people use for apps that are not in Amazon's store.
🔄 You only do this once. New versions are offered inside the app itself, so you will never repeat these steps.
Install the free “Downloader” app
On the Fire TV home screen pick the magnifying glass (Find → Search), type Downloader, and open the result — a plain orange icon with a white arrow, by AFTVnews. Choose Get / Download, then wait for it to install. It is free and it comes from Amazon's own store.
Allow Downloader to install apps
Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options, open Install unknown apps, find Downloader in the list and switch it ON.
Do not see “Developer options”? That is normal on newer devices. Go to Settings → My Fire TV → About, highlight your device name (e.g. Fire TV Stick) and press OK seven times. A message says you are now a developer, and the menu appears one level back.
Type our address into Downloader
Open Downloader. On the Home tab there is a box marked http://. Select it and type exactly:

No “www”, no “https”, nothing else. Press Go. The download starts and takes a few seconds — the file is small (about 4.7 MB).
Install it
Fire TV shows an install screen with the app name. Press Install (bottom right), wait for App installed, then choose Open. Downloader may then offer to delete the downloaded file — say Delete twice, it is no longer needed.
Start the trial and link the TV
The first launch shows a one-time notice, then the Home screen with your Activation code, Virtual MAC and Software ID. The 7-day trial starts by itself. Continue with steps 3–5 above to link the TV to your account and add your provider.
“Downloader will not open the address”
Check the spelling — it must be sakisplayer.com/fire with a forward slash. If Downloader shows a blank page or an error, close it, reopen it, and try once more. Some routers block the first attempt while they wake up.
“Install is greyed out / blocked”
The Install unknown apps switch for Downloader is off. Go back to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options → Install unknown apps and turn it on for Downloader, then run the download again.
Where did the app go?
Sideloaded apps sit at the end of your app list, not on the front row. Open Apps (or Settings → Applications → Manage installed applications), scroll to Sakis Player, and use the ☰ menu to Move to front so it is easy to find next time.
Updating later
The app tells you when a new version is out and installs it for you — just confirm when asked. If you ever want to force it, repeat step 3 with the same address; installing over the top keeps your activation and settings.
If something does not work
Channels stopped loading
Open My account, expand the device and press Reset app login. That clears the saved connection to your provider — most portals allow only one active session at a time, and a crashed app can leave the old one hanging. Then close and reopen the app.
The app says it is waiting for a portal
The TV is linked but has no provider details yet, or none assigned to it. Add a portal in My account and pick it in the device's Portal column.
Picture is black but sound plays
In the app: Settings → Video output. Switch between High quality and Compatible, then reopen the channel. Older panels sometimes need Compatible.
My remote has no colour buttons
In the app: Settings → Simple remote mode → ON. You then move along an on-screen bar with ◄ / ► and confirm with OK.
